My first tune-up event of the season was a rallycross practice in Friendswood, Indiana, which is just outside Indianapolis. I haven’t done any competitive events since November, and haven’t done a rallycross in years so there was a lot of rust to shake off! There was no clock so I can’t say if I was fast or slow compared to the others. Overall I think I did OK. My autocross experience helped me see the fast line through the quicker sections, but I definitely need to work on my technique for hair-pin turns.
I had a good time and am looking forward to going back to this place for a competitive event. I made a photo album of the pictures I took.
